They begged me to stop?

I don't think I'm such a terrible singer, but I admit I wasn't born with a great voice. Can I improve it with lessons, or should I just give up? I can play guitar, and people don't actually seem to mind that as much.

If you write amazing songs no one will care if you're technically a good singer. think Rod Stewart and Bob Dylan. You can improve with lessons, but it wont change your voice, just how you use it. Good luck.
