  1. Mostly because he is out of touch with what the American people believe and want.

Mr. Paul has an opinion of what the US Constitution says - and ~98% of the American people disagree with him.

  2. He may have had some very good points during his campaign, but  he wasn't very articulate with those points.

He did not present a confident appearance and when he spoke he sounded like he was whining.

He would not have represented the US very well.

OH, and he was a hippie kook.

  3. mccain is ticked off because the courts rejected the illegal detention (against the US constitution) of suspected terrorists - at least 3/4 of those detained are not even terrorists...  These detainees have at least the RIGHT to be brought to trial, not locked up for 8+ years without judicial review!!!   That is one example of mccain's unconstitutional views...

Dr Ron Paul is a strict constitutionalist...

Most in government don't like the constitution because it takes away their powers...  and gives PEOPLE power.

Ron Paul is an American.  The others should not be considered American because they lied in their oathes to defend America and adhere to the constitution...

Dr. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate that should have been considered for the postion as he is the only constitution following politician left...   but, Americans appear to like opression and big government...  because they are (as a majority) ignorant fools - not because they are all dumb, but because the media has manipulated peoples' thinking...  News in America is no longer news... it is opinion, drivel, and politically controlled.

As for the debates, Dr. Ron Paul was clear, educated, did not 'talk around' questions, and he made sense - that is why he was excluded from future debates.  I don't know many people (of the very few that watched him debate) that had any doubt he knows what he is talking about and has REAL CONSTITUTIONAL answers to save America...

M1a1mike below has the perfect answer :)  98% of americans don't know the constitution.  Ron Paul DOES...  it is not opinion - the constitution is VERY clear!  It was written by lawyers and they were VERY carefull writing it... it has survived all this time with some ammendments that were needed with changing times...  but NO ONE can question the constitution!!  If it needs changing - fine... but it has to be done legally and it has to be followed.  It is NOT just a guide - IT IS USA LAW!

  4. McCain like Obama was promoted by the media. People normally vote based on who the media tells them to vote for instead of voting for people who believe what they believe.

So it isnt shocking that Ron Paul was behind McCain.  That is why the government is so messed up.  Too many robots, not enough individual thinkers

  5. I agree with "Bob" on most of the points he made.

I believe Ron Paul 's approach to following the Constitution is Essential and he is the only candidate who seems to be aware of the importance of that issue.

Unfortunately, He did such a poor gob of addressing the issue during the "debates" that I fear he is not capable of communicating the issue when addressing the American people.

That is a flaw we cannot permit in anyone holding the Office of the President.

We need someone who shares his beliefs, but can also communicate.

Ron Paul should hold a major cabinet position and advise a proper course of action.

(Or learn to be a better public speaker.)
