They might not be from outer space...

Question

Aliens, as we name them, could not be from outer space. I have an idea, it might sound stupid and dumb, i dont care.

What if in the future we master time travel i mean its only a matter of time before our technology develops enough to travel in time.

Now heres my arguement. They could be Species that originate from humans. Some people claim they were abducted and tested on and Sightings of crafts have been seen throughout time so maybe these being or maybe our future selves, in thousands of years, may be coming back and observing the past. Maybe trying to understand how they came to be. I think that makes sense. Think about human nature and curiousity if we was to have a time machine right now we would go to the future and see what its like. But archaeologist would use a time machine and find out how we evolved from apes, sadly we dont have the technology, but maybe these future beings do, and i think somewhere along the line we go wrong and we seriously damage the earth and maybe they are coming back to find out where we went wrong and change it. The earth may be damaged in times to come and all hope for humanity or human kind may be lost therefore they may have come to fix it. I think the problem happens in the near future because more sightings of UFO's have been seen recently more than ever. This may mean It could be soon when everything changes and maybe these beings come forward and explain themselves.

Also look at peoples discriptions and drawings of aliens. The big heads, these can be explained. We evolved from apes and as we did we got changed and became alot more inteligent, our brains grew in size so maybe in the future our brains grow and so do our heads and this can explain the look of these beings. Also the beings eyes are big and black, this may be because of us damaging the earth in the future maybe the whole envirement will change and so will our vision, brain and body. Thus why these beings are discribed to be tall and thin. This is just my idea. I was watching some stuff on youtube and it made me think. These ideas seem highly unlikely i know but oh well, were all aloud our own opinions.

I think the real aliens planted that idea in your head to hide the truth.

Many people have speculated this, but I hypothesize that if "aliens" are us in the future, we would have known by now.  We would have had our future selves visiting times past, and stopping the World Wars, taking out Hitler, trying to save Jesus from the cross, stop the Inquisitions, assassinations, and the list goes on.  Since we have no record of strange happenings or changes in our history, and no one is coming back to tell us they're from our future, you can bet we won't ever manage time travel.  

Here's another idea:  What if aliens do exist, but they are from solar systems much larger than ours, and are so huge, they stay far away so as not to frighten us.  The only way they can have contact is by creating little miniature "ufos" and putting their idea of an alien life form inside them, like a toy soldier in a remote controlled car.  

Just as people say it's ridiculous to think aliens don't exist because of the size of our universe, it is also ridiculous to think that any such life forms would be the exact same size as us too, don't you think?

What evidence do you have to support your idea, or in what way do you propose to test it?

Without evidence or a test capable of gathering evidence, your idea is no more helpful in understanding the world than the writings of any science fiction author.

Also, you presuppose that aliens exist at all.  What evidence do you have to support that?

I think that your may be more right then wrong on this one, but I have to disagree on the evolution theory that you mentioned- We have apes and we have man- show me the the ape man that is evolving into modern day man

Very interesting take. "Back to the Future" so to speak. This could explain one of the issues that has bothered me about UFOs and aliens. That being that they seem to a lot more adapted to visiting Earth than we are to being away from Earth. We have to wear space suits and bring along our own air.  If they are from here,  that would explain their lack of space helmets and space suits (referencing all the materials I have read and seen over the years).

They are from our future.  You been watching the 4400!!!

Actually they are from several different current locations in our galaxy.  Some of the aliens are "friendly", some not so friendly.  They do NOT like our nuclear weaponry.  When we explode a nuke, it cause a rift in space/time and it can upset the natural order of things.
