  1. theres alot of techonology that the government doesn't want the public to know about, such as Hover-cars, cmon they have Big *** transports called *hover-crafts* already and that was like 10 years ago. another neat little invention the Government use is Night-vision technology, could you imagine having night vision during night while driving as a back-up with reflectors on your car that activates incase your Lights *go out* while driving....h**l imagine everyone using night-vision technology on their cars at night and not having to burn the car lights...which uses your batteries life more then anything in the car, meaning longer lasting battery life.

  2. Guess what, there are buses running entirely on hydrogen in ICELAND and there are entire towns powered by hydrogen in Japan. I found this stuff on the website in the source below, check it out.

So may be as somebody above said, the govt doesn't put out all the technology in the book. They just want their pockets fat I guess, don't care what happens to you and I.

Infact this website says there are hydrogen cars in the market and (on page two) and they cost about $100,000 right now. I guess that's how everything is at the beginning and in 10 years may be it'll come down to $20,000 ha ha

Hope this answered your question, but do check it out yourself to make sure.

  3. They've had hydrogen powered cars since the early '70's. Problems are storage and infrastructure. I don't think either one has been solved yet. Personally, I think  ethanol is the perfect source for hydrogen fuel cells.

  4. I think you may have been breathing in too much hydrogen and not enough oxygen.

  5. wo'h tin foil hat time, (preaching to the converted)

Not sure that night vision would be as efficient as a bulb.

Its about freedom, can our economies survive if the backbone that is oil collapses. Remember this IS a global concern as one failing economy drags down others.

Short term profits for long term suffering,  sounds about right.

Anyway tell me YOUR secrets please?!?

  6. Hydrogen is not for dummies ,as it will kill you. Hydrogen is the most explosive gas there is. If u have any oxygen in the tank when u put the hydrogen ,it could flash back into the tank and the explosion would be great.  `

  7. Please purchase or make a tinfoil hat immediately and wear it 24/7.  Your mind has obviously ben infiltrated by brain control waves from the evil planet Mongo.  Make sure it is real tin foil, because aluminum foil will not work.  Go now, time is of the essence.

  8. "The government has had hovercraft for 10 years now?"

Iceman, check your history, hovercraft have been used by the US govt since the 50's, and have been in public transportation over in Europe since the 70's.  Problem is, they are really inefficient with fuel.

Everyone complains that the govt is withholding this, and covering up that. Fact is, The federal govt is basically only interested in buying invention patents that can be used for national defense.  We all complain that "someone should do something", but, no one is doing anything. We don't want to take a risk, but we think someone else should.  This is too expensive of a prospect for just a few investors.

There ARE other answers out there, the problem is the start-up cost for a major conversion is too great, so not worth the risk.  This is why the only hybrid type vehicles you see are manufactured from the big auto manufactures, not a brand new start up company like "bob's hybrids"  .

  9. First off the bases didn't run on water, they ran on hydrogen with water as a by produce. You can't burn water, it's already burnt.

I'm betting you got a few facts wrong, in a sealed system you can't have normal combustion, hydrogen in a fuel cell burns only hydrogen and oxygen leaving you with water, no CO2 to deal with no other exhaust to deal with, a big thing if you have to clean and recycle air. Also don't forget the cost a fuel cell now cost $3,000 to $7,500 per KWH how much did it cost back then, who knows. But I'm betting it was more then you make in a year, so could they have had a base run on hydrogen 40 years ago? Probably, was it cost effective, probably not, are fuel cell cheap enough for every day use, NO.
