They say the average womens height is only 5'4? WOW

That's weird . Don't ya think .. I guess everyone in Florida is just really tall because I'm only 15 and I'm 5'5 . & Girls that are 14 are taller then I am and Im about to be 16 .

I just dont thinks its sccurate or up to date & yea I htought I was tall ...but everyone on here said that I was average height ..

You're an inch taller than the average and you're finding this "weird"?  At age 15, most girls are done growing upward.  Over the span of a couple millenia, humans are actually getting taller.  Some people believe it has to do with the hormones and steroids we put into our meats.  Food for thought ;)

Like the other posters have already said, it's an average.  If you're 5'5, and your friend is 5'3, that's a 5'4 average.

that's weird. i thought the average would be shorter. i'm 5'6 and everybody always tells me that i'm tall. and most girls i meet are shorter than me. i think it has something to do with the generation too. i'm 22 not THAT older than you but when i went to school (cali) i was the tallest out of all my friends except for maybe a couple of other girls.

Lots  of us a short like me.  I am only 5"2.  It is people like me that bring down the average height.  YOU may be taller than 5"4 but the average will be based on every woman, even those who are below 5"0.

I thought the average was going up, I quess I am wrong.

i am 5'9" tall but my mom was only 5'4".
