They say to go to the hospital if your cervical mucous has green or brown in it because the baby could have ?

pooped in the womb. Would it be the green and brown colors of poo you normally see? What if it's mostly yellow and there almost seems to be just a hint of green color to where you almost can't tell if it's just yellow or is actually kind of green?

  1. you are looking for that color when your water breaks, not the mucus plug...the mucus can be clear or have a slightly bloody tinge and be a yellowy or greenish tint, its the greenish color in your water that is of concern.


  2. well the green and brown may signal infection. Meconium, when the baby poops in the womb, is usually a sticky black/brown tar like substance and is dangerous because its there for the baby to redigest and isnt good.
