They seem a little whack?

Question

Christianity says that two people started a human population... Adam & Eve. But, inter-breeding causes deformities of the offspring, so this couldn't be correct? Why do Chirstians believe this? Evolution makes perfect sense, because organisms grew into complex organisms. Survival of the fittest keys in every peice? So why do religous people still believe in Adam & Eve?

Ok. like, there's nothing contradictory here, no either/or... Just read on. . . Of course interbreeding allows degenerative qualities (that would otherwise be defeated)  a better chance at showing up in progeny.... But think about it . . .everyone after Adam and Eve has been progressively less perfect. . . especially in the devolution of their religious encumberances.

(oh . . .and Adam and Eve are a Jewish concoction, that the Christians just happened to have picked up on, . . .Kinda like when the Holy Trinity evolved from Roman gods and the Easter Bunny evolved from the wild hallucinations brought on by excess sugary treats fed to children on certain Sundays determined by some phases of the moon . . .Hmm . . .Kinda looks like Christianity borrowed and evolved a lot more than Adam and Eve, no? I would suppose that it's part of the territory when it comes to being a Christian. It might sound preposterous to you, but you have to see it from the point of view of the person who grew up with those beliefs all around them in a Christian home. It's probably just as unlikely for people to have come from apes, it all depends on what you believe in.

Read the bible.  In Genesis it does mention that there were others besides Adam & Eve after their expulsion from Eden.

The complexity of the human body belies evolution.  To believe that our systems came about by many series of random chance takes more faith than believing in creation.

The Adam and Eve story is not to be taken literally. It simply shows how humans are capable of sin.

They believe in this cause it is easier to believe in something they can't explain by saying it was the power of "God."  Because the book of fables called the "bible" tells them this.  It is easier to control people if they belong to a cult.  Religion is just a way to hide from reality.  Some type of evolution makes sense and those who believe are the evolved ones.  I would believe in what you feel you believe and not listen to the brain washers.
