I have recently been promoted within my compnay. The promotion included the line managemnet of one of my colleagues. As soon as I started my new role, my boss left. My new boss has decided that it would be better if she managed my colleague instead of me, as the team is only small I think she expected more responsibility with reagds to line managing. On eof the reasons I accepted the promotion was becasue it gave me an opportunity to be a line manager. It is also written in my job description. Can she do this? It seems very unfair.
