The former Inter Milan man has become an integral part of Paris Saint-Germain side and says that there is no unrest in the locker room despite the team’s recent performances
In recent weeks, there have been reports of tensions mounting in the Paris Saint-Germain dressing room. Many players anonymously have said that they are not getting along well with teammates, especially those who recently joined the club.
However, according to midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Motta-c34897, everything is normal and players are trying their utmost to win the league.
“It’s normal that coach and players meet after a game like Sunday where we did not expect to concede a draw,” says Motta before reaffirming that there was unity within the entire squad.
“We are united. There is no reason why this should happen otherwise. I see it in the locker room. It’s like that since I’m here. There is no reason to change that. We help and efforts are made for eachother on the ground.”
Many people have criticised Nene for being the reason behind the recent draw against Auxerre. However, Motta has come to the staunch defence of his fellow countrymen by saying that putting the blame on Nene is totally wrong because it was a collective team
effort that resulted in a draw.
Motta says that his side had 95 minutes to make the difference but failed to do so.
Motta then said that his side needs to kill the game off in order to guarantee themselves of three points. Motta says that scoring just one goal is not enough as it gives the opponent a big hope of turning things around.
While talking about how he adjusted to life in Paris since arriving from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan this January, Motta said that he has easily adapted to his new surroundings and is feeling good at the club.
Former teammate at Inter Milan, Samuel Eto’o has been linked with a move to Parc des Princes and Motta says that he is unaware of PSG’s interest in the Cameroonian.
“I have not heard from him. We exchange text messages some time ago but not when I was at PSG.”
