The Brazilian born Italian international is uncertain of his future with the Nerazzurri as he is keen to renew his contract which expires in June 2013.
Inter Milan midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Motta-c34897, awaits news of his contract extension at San Siro as the club would be determining the contracts of many this summer.
The player’s agent, Dario Canovi, is keen to find out whether the Nerazzurri are willing to keep his client at San Siro in order to plan for the future.
The agent was recently talking to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Inter-c39127 News where he explained what he and his client are expecting from Inter Milan. The midfielder’s representative said:
“For the moment we haven’t heard from anyone at Inter. I know that the club will be discussing the contracts of those whose deals expire in June 2012 in the month of March. I hope that they won’t wait until March 2013 to discuss the future of Motta. I know
that he still has 18 months left on his contract, but still.”
The Italian international joined the Nerazzurri during the summer of 2009 for an undisclosed fee, with Genoa receiving five players in exchange. The midfielder has made 53 appearances for the Italian giants since then and has scored 10 goals.
Motta has played seven league games for Inter this season so far and has scored twice for his club. Moreover, he was also featured twice in UEFA Champions League clashes.
Inter have had a troubled season in the Serie A as they had an inconsistent start. However, since the sacking of the former coach Gian Piero Gasperini, and the arrival of the new tactician, Claudio Ranieri, the Nerazzurri have gone on to to win 5 of their
6 league games.
Now the Nerazzurri are looking to bring in a few big names to the club during the upcoming winter transfer window. Moreover, it is expected that Inter might also consider a total overhaul during the summer transfer window next year.
