Brazil captain, Thiago Silva, arguably the best centre-back in the world at the moment, has spoken about his time with the capital club so far.
While talking to reporters, the 28-year-old stated that he doesn’t mind playing with either Alex or Sakho in the centre of defence. However, Silva prefers experience over youth and is more comfortable playing alongside the Brazilian in defence.
The former AC Milan player said that both are quality players and are an important part of Paris Saint-Germain.
"Sakho and Alex are two amazing players with a lot of quality," Silva told Le Parisien.
Silva added that both Alex and Sakho are really good and are capable of handling the pressure at this stage. However, Alex has played at the top level for so many years and he is currently the preferred choice of the coach, Carlo Ancelotti.
"They are both really good but big difference between the two of them is that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 is more experienced, while Sakho is still pretty young.”
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 captain revealed that he is more comfortable playing alongside Alex in the defence as he has abundance of experience under his belt.
"I have to admit that even though I feel fine with either of the two next to me, I am more relaxed when I play alongside the more experienced guy, which is Alex, who has played for some of the biggest clubs in the world."
