The agent of Rossoneri defender quashes rumours linking the former Porto star with a move to Camp Nou, and confirms that he is happy at San Siro
The agent of A.C Milan defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903, has rubbished claims regarding his client’s move to Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
Agent, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-c13609 Tonietto, insists that his client is extremely happy with A.C Milan, and has no reason to leave them. He insists that his client will only leave the Champions if he is told to do so by the club.
While talking to calciomercato.com, Tonietto said,
"http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-c34888 is happy at Milan. He is a calm person and realises that he is playing for a great club. If he does not stay at Milan, it will be because the club decides otherwise.”
Since joining the Rossoneri from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fluminense-c39366 in 2009, Silva has established himself as one of the best centre-backs in the game. The Brazilian international was a pivotal figure behind his team’s Scudetto triumph in the 2010/11
season, and has been the most consistent performer for them in the ongoing campaign too.
The agent is not surprised with the defender’s link to Barcelona, and believes that the Brazilian is the best defender in the game right now and it is understandable that the top teams will look to sign him.
Tonietto hinted that his client wants to end his career with the Rossoneri, and will honour his contract with the club.

Silva also revealed in a recent interview that he wants to end his career at San Siro and wants to become the captain. The 27-year-old has been given the captaincy armband in few matches this season.
The versatile player has made 110 appearances for the Italian Champions since joining the club, and has scored five goals for them too.
