While talking to reporters, the 27-year-old, who moved to French club Paris Saint-Germain this summer, lamented the loss against Mexico that saw them settle for a silver medal. Silva stated that his side played brilliantly throughout the competition and
to lose the final was a hard pill to swallow.

Silva added that after the loss against Mexico, he and other players came under a lot of criticism, but is happy with the Sweden win and believes that the team is on the right track again.
