Brazilian defender, Thiago Silva, has revealed that Inter Milan were interested in signing him but former A.C Milan and the Nerazzurri manager, Leonardo, convinced him to join the Rossoneri.
Leonardo was the A.C Milan manager at the time when Silva joined the current Italian Champions in 2009. The former Juventude defender is delighted with his decision to join Milan and believes that he would not have been that successful had he not joined the Rossoneri.
The 26-year-old had a very turbulent ride before joining Milan and could not make his mark in five different clubs.
