The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fluminense-c39366 defender has gone on to state that he always considered Milan to be his home, and that he left the club due to their financial difficulties.
The saga involving the transfer of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903 to Paris Saint-Germain seemed all but over when the President of the club blocked the 47 million Euros transfer to the club. After blocking the deal, the club offered the player with a new contract which had
a revised salary, and any further transfer of the player seemed impossible.
However, the Parc de Princes outfit renewed their interest in the defender, and this time they targeted the Rossoneri striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 as well. The resolve of the Diavolo finally broke after the Parisian outfit bid 60 million Euros for the services
of the two players. What was interesting to note was that PSG were now taking Silva for 42 million Euros, five million less than they had previously agreed to.
Fearing the backlash of the supporters, Berlusconi went on to state that the club would be saving 150 million Euros in transfers and wages over the next two years because of the sale that they had made. The Rossoneri outfit have conceded to having financial
difficulties, which is a reason why the Italian Lega has been targeted more often of late by clubs.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ezequiel-Lavezzi-c13073 joins the two former Rossoneri stars at the Parc de Princes, after the Parisian outfit bought the attacking player for a fee of 30 million Euros.
Defending his decision to leave AC Milan, Silva went on to state that he never wanted to leave the club, which was a reason behind him signing a new contract at the club. He stated that he did not leave any ambiguity to the fact that he wanted to remain
at the club. He went ahead to state:
"I had made it very clear that I wanted to stay until the end of my contract, but I knew that Milan had financial difficulties. It would therefore have been difficult to stay. I would still be at Milan if it weren't for their financial problems.”
Silva conceded that Milan had made good money from his sale as they made a profit of 32 million Euros from his sale.
