Chelsea’s on-loan goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, wants to stay another year at the Vicente Calderon rather than return to the Stamford Bridge at the end of season.

The towering shot-stopper stated that he has told his parent club about his wishes and will leave it to them to take a final decision on the matter.
Courtois is hopeful that Chelsea will understand his stance and will allow him to prosper away from the Stamford Bridge for the time being.
“Chelsea know I want to stay with Atletico but the decision is theirs.”
“At the moment I don’t know anything so we’ll have to wait and see what happens. I think they are going to agree for me to continue here because they know I am enjoying it.”
