I had s*x during the days that I was supposed to ovulate this month (August 10-15), and only used the pull-out method as birth control. It's very confusing because many people say that pre-ejaculation has no sperm, whereas others say it does... So I don't even know if that could've gotten me pregnant. But anyway, I was supposed to get my period yesterday, Aug. 27th, but all I have had for the past three days is brown, old discharge (blood that is only there when I wipe and only stains the tampons). It is nothing like any period i have ever had. I don't know what it is, and I am very confused because if it were the start of my peiod, it would've picked up by now. I took a pregnancy in the middle of the day today (not in the morning) and it came out negative. I also have lots and lots of gas. Sorry if TMI. Could I be pregnant? Any REAL and serious answers would help... Thank you in advance.

  1. stress can cause you to have a period in the way your describing also it can cause gas...I don't think having gas should be used as an indicator that your pregnant or not...go to the doctors....if your period should have been here yesterday then weither you took it in the morning or afternoon should not matter if it was going to be positive...use more birth control methods besides just pulling out if your not looking to get pregant...it only takes one and that one could be in the precum...some men don't have any sperm in the precum and some do..it depends on their sperm count

  2. sounds like it could be implantation bleeding, or just a pregnancy period (if you are pregnant, because they are usually short and consist of old blood or regular blood but spotting), which it seems like you very well could be, and yes pre-ejaculate does have sperm in it. Also, if you didn't know if there was sperm or not in pre-come then shouldnt you have used the precautions as if it did have sperm and used a condom, just to be safe?

Take a pregnancy test, since your "period" already came then u should be able to get an accurate result by now.

    Good Luck!
