In doing so, he potentially scored his last ever Premier League goal, which helped his side pick up all three points from the match.
Nonetheless, Henry has admitted that he could have done a whole lot more during his stay with the club, since there is always room to do more and improve upon your performances.
When talking about his brief return to Arsenal and how things could have been different, the Gunners legend is quoted to have said: "You can always do more"
 "I was in the dressing room thinking I missed a chance against Aston Villa when I came on and should have put the ball in the back of the net.”

"But if you had asked me if I would rather have scored against Villa or this one against Sunderland, I think I would have chosen this opportunity against Sunderland.”
