http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thierry-Henry-c34918, has urged Arsenal fans to get behind the club and has gone on to apologize to a Gunner fan, after the two had a minor confrontation after the Swansea game.
Henry made an appearance in Arsenal’s game against Swansea, but couldn’t do much to prevent the team from losing by three goals to two.
However, following the end of the game, the striker went on to praise the fans, but ended up having a confrontation with one of them.
At the moment, it seemed like Henry was gesturing angrily to the fan, but a club spokesperson went on to claim that the striker simply stated:  “No matter what, you should support your team."
Despite the spokesperson clearing the forwards name, Henry has gone on to personally apologise to the fan, as he feels his actions were a little irrational.
The striker admits that he was also disappointed by the result of the game, but he was thoroughly disappointed with the way the crowd reacted to the team after the poor result.
The Frenchman, while talking about what happened is quoted to have said:
"I was really shocked and disappointed on Sunday, and not just at the result"
"When I arrived in front of our own fans, I couldn't understand the abuse the team were getting from one of them.
"I wanted to tell the fan in question that we need their support not abuse. The sentiment was right but in hindsight could have been better expressed.”
The on-loan striker then went on to clear the air, as he claims he didn’t mean any harm when talking to the fan, but just wanted him to understand that you need to support your team through thick and thin.
"I didn't intend to be malicious or threatening and am aware that it could have been said in a calmer manner."
Henry and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 are now set to take on Manchester United this coming weekend and the team is going to look to go all out, as they want to eradicate the memories of the loss to Swansea. At the same time, their defeat to United by eight goals to two earlier in the season is going to act as a catalyst for them to perform better this time around.
