Schmitter clinched 27 points after he took part in 10 races, which also includes a discarded race. His lowest finish was 11th podium place in the seventh race which was discarded from the overall scores.
Schmitter took a handsome lead from the start with a bullet in the opening race and a second finish in the next. However, the Dutch sailor tumbled down in the fourth race and clinched 10th position which dragged him down in the overall standings.
