Thin Mint Blizzards are Minty Green?

I just bought a Thin Mint Blizzard from Dairy Queen (DQ) and when I tasted it, I noticed that the ice cream was minty, when I clearly saw them put vanilla soft serve inside. How do they create the minty flavor from pure vanilla?

They put mint flavoring in there. I personally think this new blizzard is nasty and too minty. Maybe it was just the person making mine...but whoa it was like drinking pure mint flavored syrup.

It is minty green, and they put minty green in the soft white to make it minty green. I had one and was sad there weren't more real cookies in it.  It was all just minty green and not enough crunchy Girl Scout cooky.

They have minty green flavoring. Vanilla soft serve goes with nearly everything though.
