Thing is i caught a mouse in a glue trap. anyone ever seen a mouse look like its sweating as it decomposes?

thing is i caught a mouse in a glue trap. anyone ever seen a mouse look like its sweating as it decomposes?mouse was there for a couple days im guessing. not sure if my dog licked it or thats how it looked when it was decomposing. it was real humid last night and this morning when i found it. anyone have a similar experience or an answer?

  2. Mice, like other rodents, only sweat from glands found on their feet. What you are likely seeing is condensation from the outside environment (like dew on grass in the morning or beads of water on a glass of ice water.) If the mouse has been decomposing for a few days, it is also possible that you are seeing the by-products of decomposition, such as putrescine or cadaverine. These liquids result from the break down of amino acids in decaying organic matter.
