Thing to do all summer holidays.....?

OH WELL MUMS ITS THAT TIME AGAIN. KID MOANING THAT NOTHING TO DO AND MORE WASHING THAN THE MACHINE CAN HANDLE SO WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY KIDS THIS SUMMER (6,11,12YRS OLD)

Good weather activities

Go to the nearest woods or countryside park and do some minibeast hunting or wood games

Go pond dipping

Visit a new town nearby (go on the bus or train to make iit more exciting)

Go for picnics

Hire a tennis court for a couple of hours

Wet weather activities

re decorate or re arrange their bedrooms with them

Cooking or baking (get the older ones to run their own cafe and you could pay them tips)

Hire or buy some new dvds

Painting or some clay

Let them hold sleepovers

Go swimming

Rollerskating

Also when you have to go on the school uniform buying trip go to a really big shopping centre on the train or something and make a day out of it

I love the holidays! No more getting up at the crack of dawn and constantly having your hand in your pocket giving money to the school!

Take them to the park, visit your local museum. Take them on a bus trip or to local woods. It doesn't have to cost a fortune to have a day out. We have booked some train trips to the seaside, cheap with a family railcard. Grab a packed lunch and get out and about. Holidays are better than school time I dread september.

Create an obstacle course in your backyard.  Have them make a family scrapbook of their favourite photos (copies, if you treasure them lol).  Do your chores after they are in bed and spend the day at the beach, park, museum, etc.  Check out your cities website for local activities and events going on.  I live in a small town, and there are still things to be done - most on the cheap.  A trip to a local ship museum cost $12 for my family of four.

Take them to the pool or to a park. Maybe you could go camping wit them? Do out doors things... tennis.... baseball... basketball( I know that's also an indoor), volleyball (another indoor). Anything to get them active :) Maybe on a  weekend or something you could take them to a water park or make up your own!!!!! Of course its not near as fun but it could be fun still. All ya need is a water hose and some trash bags on a hillside.... let them run and slide lol Have water guns and maybe let them have friends over and a  cookout! Could be a fun time :)

Seriously, in hindsight, I wish I had taken some more time off other than to go away on holiday - just to spend some quality summer holiday time with the kids.

Go to the beach,park have a few picnics go for bike rides and walks play out in the garden and if you can afford it then take them to wildlife park,zoo,farm something like that. Good luck

Oooh...I kow! I am new to this as my little girl only started in March last year...so she keeps asking me when she's going to school! Yours are older than mine and if they are into drawing and writing why not get them to do a family magazine? Put it together weekly....like pics and news..."Sarah gets head stuck in railings" might be a headline...obviously I made that one up! Or "Mum burns Pizza again"....and pics of all the news.
