  1. You could always try getting mugged, it's very popular in Paris at this (or any other) time of year...

  2. Well there is a llot to do InParis - it depends on what you like.

If you like walking, to walk through all bridges along the river is fantastic (you can take great pics) and also the best Brechos in the world in you like shopping. Also the museums are amazing, breath taking if you like art. There will be some clubs (where youcan watch some shows) that you can go if your parents are with you. And honestly Paris is beutifull itself just a walk on those streets is nice. And if you like good food-be ready! Enjoy!

  3. See all the standard tourist sights if for no other reason than you can one up most of your friends when you're watching some TV show or a movie which is set in Paris by shouting "I've been there!"

So yeah, go see the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, The Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Coeur, the Opera Garnier, etc etc. Open up any guide book and they are all listed.

Frankly I think Disneyland is a waste of time although I suppose if you're European rather than a North American there might be some very slight excuse for going to see it.

I don't know how old you are so I have to assume you will be with the one or both of the parental units so that your freedom of action is limited.

If so then here is some stuff they might let you do:

    1) Check out the big plaza in front of the Centre Pompidu (Which contains the Museum of Modern Art). On most sunny afternoons you'll find all sorts of street entertainers there. Among these will almost always be some guys doing big involved audience participation comedy bits. When they call for volunteers (and they always do) don't hesitate to stand up. The fact that you probably don't speak French will be NO problem. These guys tend to be very good and very funny. You'll have a great time and if you can have someone snap a picture you'll have a great story to tell when you get home (and a photo to prove it).

    2) If you have a skateboard bring it along and head over to the Forum des Halles (which is only a few blocks from the Pompidu). You'll find a lot of young skate board enthusiasts hanging out there. A chance for a great photo of you doing a 180 frontside ollie in the Parisian equivalent of the Mall.

    3) Go down to the river. In the Summer they cart in a bunch of sand and turn  sections of the Seine riverbank into an artificial "beach." You can't swim in the Seine (its really polluted) but people play beach volleyball and otheriwse act like they are at the beach. Here's some more information (in English) http://www.paris.fr/portail/english/Port...

    4) At ten p.m. every Friday night thousands of people gather in the the Place d'Italie and proceed to rollerskate thru the streets accompanied by a special Police unit to clear the way and keep them safe. Just show up and join the crowd. The organizers use a different route each time and try to skate by at least a few historic/touristic sights.

    5) If you're 16 or older, check out the Batofar, a sort of dance hall on a boat. http://www.batofar.org/ Its at 11 quai Fracois Mauriac in the 13th arrondiisement.

  4. I went in May and I went everywhere. The following are my favorite places:

Sacre Coure (a cathedral on a large hill top overlooking part of the city)

    Seine Cruise at night (amazing)

Champs Elysee (a huges street with shops and outside restaurants)

    Arc du Triomphe

    Musuee D'Orsay

    Louvre

Jurden du Tuillieries (a huge beautiful park that leads up to the Louvre)

You can also go to www.frommers.com for travel tips and advice. It also has a list of attractions with a brief descripton.

    Have fun!

  5. There are about a million things to do there but I would suggest that you do not miss the following:

    1.  Versailles

    2. The Louvre

    3. Pantheon

    4. Notre Dame cathedral

    5.  The catacombs - creepy but cool.

    6.  Montmarte at night

    Have a great time.
