Things in favour of Bansha Mo in William Hill Ladies Standard Trophy at Nottingham
Bansha Mo is an amazing b***h, and holds the ability to lead and proceed to draw clear down the far side. She has not been showing her magic over the past few weeks, but Monday’s William Hill Ladies Standard Trophy at Nottingham is an ideal chance for her
to get back to the winning ways.
H. Crapper’s charge is not facing the toughest of opposition in today’s 500 metres race. Her rivals are: Expert Gem, Miss Slick, Dons Jewel, Fabulous Athena and Fabulous Adele. The £200 event is scheduled to begin at 21:07 GMT.
Bansha Mo recorded her previous success at Sheffield last month. In a 480 metres contest, the black b***h ran well to secure the top rank by six lengths. After a convincing victory, she suddenly lost her rhythm, and has been struggling with her form since
then.
After ending up third in a similar race here, the daughter of Scarty Lad went to Sheffield in search of glory, but nothing came to her way. She was awful on her last two outings, bumped on both occasions.
There is no doubt over her ability to trounce even the best in this class, and she needs just a clear passage to show what she is capable of. The dashing b***h certainly deserves another chance.
Out of others, no one is in extraordinary form at the moment. Miss Slick pays her keep, and should be prominent on the inside. But the way she performed last time is certainly a concern.
Fabulous Athena is sure to be staying on at the finish. The brindle b***h is coming off a splendid performance in the trials. This will be a different ball game though.
Fabulous Adele could struggle to win a clean-run contest. Expert Gem clocked some decent trial times, and showed a lot of early pace. The black b***h needs an early advantage to get the better of Bansha Mo. Dons Jewel’s recent efforts were inconsistent,
but she will be in the mix for a place on the podium.
Bansha Mo just needs to be cautious of Expert Gem, who can take advantage of the mistakes made by others. Good luck to all the runners.
