  1. Invest some of your time in gardening- you'd be amazed at all the things you can do to beautify your home with just gardening! I do the same- and my husband usually helps by cleaning out the garage, (have a garage sale) mowing the lawns, or whatever other dirty work I refuse to do. =P

Also, invite friends or family over and do a potluck- so you can still enjoy social time. Play games- no matter how old you are- time flies when you have the Nintendo WII............Go walking, biking, work out- you don't have to join a gym to stay in shape- and it costs no money when you work out in the privacy of your own home.

  2. Start working out together. You will feel healthier. Biking, walking, jogging, hiking, swimming at the local pool, tennis at the parks and so on. Use this moment to keep yourselves healthy

  3. Watch movies together. Even if you dont have cable, ask your friends and family to borrow DVDs. Many times my wife will borrow DVDs from my dad or we swap movies out of my collection with a close neighbor.

Go for walks in the park, beach or in your neighborhood

Play games together.Video games, board games, cards, chess etc. Have a weekly game night and either you alternate who picks the game or if you are both competative then the  winner picks the game for the next game night.

Also keep in mind that it is good to have your own individual hobbies that you can do separate from each other.
