Things to do during Ghost Festival in Taiwan?

Now, I am in Taiwan. I am informed that it is Ghost Festival. I want to know what I can do during Taiwan Ghost Festival.

Ghost Festival is a traditional Taiwan Festival. The seventh month of the lunar calendar, or the Ghost Month, is believed to be the time when ghosts and spirits, including those of the deceased ancestors, come out from the lower realm. Ceremonies would be held in Taiwan during this month to avoid bad luck. Especially, the Mid-Summer Ghost Festival on the 15th day of the Ghost Month is the most significant. Interesting ceremonies include the Water Lantern Festival and the Chiang-Ku Ceremony.

You should:

- Wear Black.

- Go swimming as much as possible... especially in rivers and the sea.

- Point at the moon as much as possible.

- Sing the Ghost-busters theme tune.

- Tap people on their shoulders then call their names.

- whistle.

Just kidding - according to Taiwanese beliefs these are the things you shouldn't do during Ghost month... why has.. by the way... already ended!
