  1. Spend an afternoon in a bookstore, preferably one with a Starbucks, reading travel books and sipping iced cappocino; visit the museums in your town that you've never gone to (ours has a dog museum I've never gone to!), spend a day with an older person cruising antique shops and listening to their stories of bygone days; get online and find some daytrips to places in your area you've not visited such as the textile mill or Dr. Pepper bottling company, or Frito Lay, etc that allow tours/field trips; find an Omnimax theater and go see a BIG movie; get a large piece of plywood and set of acrylic paints and sit on the patio and paint a yard picture to hang on your patio or back fence (mine was a large geometric sunrise with ivy vines around it...and I enjoy it on the patio); find a friend or relative with small children and offer to babysit them for the day and then fill the day with fun things their moms dread doing like fingerpainting, slip & slide, making cookies, painting a mural, making a playhouse out of a refrigerator box, etc;  Rent a trailer/condo/house in not so crowded vacation spots like Ruidoso NM, or Granbury TX; look for the festivals that small communities have during the summer like the Peach festival or Strawberry festival, etc and spend the day at one of them; get a summer job doing something crazy that you wouldn't ever want to do for a lifetime, like working on the highway or checking for bugs in the fields or painting the overpasses; set yourself a goal of learning a new language (Rosetta Stone is supposed to be good and only about $400...but you might find someone you can borrow it from); decide to learn a new craft  and take lessons like pottery or quilting ...

  2. Beach, pool, barbecues, amusement parks...etc.

  3. happy slaps, drive bys ... then of course there is legal things to do like miniclip.

Amusement parks are good idea but cost a bit, so my idea is that you befriend someone who who works at the ticket gate and go for free!!

If that don't work then I'm sure making up with your ex and having lots of s*x would pass the time nicely. (p.s. always include barbecues.)

  4. Play a game with your friends...

    Write a book...

    Draw...

    Vector art...

    HTML...XML...

    Running

  5. You can; swim, go for walks, go to the library, watch your kids/grandkids play sports, ice skate, knit, sketch, paint, shop, join a group, help at vacation bible school, make crafts, fly a kite, jog, run, walk, read a book, write a story,
