Things to do for suprise 30th b-day party?!!?

i'm throwing a surprise party for my bf who is turning 30 this saturday. he knows we are having a party (my daughter also turns 7 and she is having a fairy princess party at the same time w/8 little girls) but doesn't know his friends are coming-he thinks it's just his family along w/the girls for my daughter and their families.

what fun things should we do for my bf? there are about 20 people coming for him. we are grilling hamburgers and hotdogs and i've asked guests to bring along side dishes and drinks.

Since your daughter is having a princess party, why not theme his part of the party as your "Knight in Shining Armour" or "Prince Charming"?

Make up a trivia contest centering around him - questions about his childhood, favorite things, stuff that's unusual that everyone might not know. Also ask questions from the year 1968!

Take photos of the guests, print & paste the pics to a large foam core board. Ask them to sign his "card" by their photo.

Have guests write their favorite memory of him on an index card, then collect the cards and read them aloud while everyone's eating cake or while he's opening presents.

You could do all the above for your daughter too!
