Things to do for your birthday( I'll be 38 )?

My birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone knew of any place that offers discounts when it's your birthday? We are kinda on a budget and looking for something fun but yet inexpensive. My friend says Applebees is good but I was looking for other ideas as well. Thanks to all:))

Well Happy Birthday!!!! We just dealt with birthdays also. Several res truants offer free lunch on your birthday.The Chinese food places especially.You can go to On the Border,but you wouldn't get free food. Instead a song.Bone Daddy's is one place we went to also. Try to go out and do something that you never did before. What ever you do, do it with all your friends. No fun by yourself.

This is probably more complicated then you want but here goes.We just went to Charlie  Brown's(real rest. if you don't have one near by)You buy one entree and you get the 2nd one for $10.00.Here's the catch you have to sign up before time and fill out a birthday certificate. We had diner there once and had ever body sign a card....well that's another story for another day. They don't have adult beverages,we had a good time anyway.Seems like you can always have a good time w/good friends.
