Things to do in Abu Dhabi and Dubai (please read)

Question

Me and my friend live in Abu Dhabi, and we have lived here for a while. We both came back from vacation and many of our friends are still on vacation.

We are BORED. We have been to the malls: Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi Mall, Wahda Mall, Khalidiyah Mall, etc. We have eaten out, watched movies, etc. As there are only 2 of us, group activities i.e. bowling do not hold much appeal.

We are planning on going to Dubai for ONE DAY in a week. We are planning to go to Mall of the Emirates. We were also considering Wild Wadi. Is there anything else that 2 teenagers can do in Dubai? (not something like Burj Al Arab, please, or the beaches: we have beaches in Abu Dhabi)

Can anyone suggest what we can do in Abu Dhabi, other than traditional camel rides, because we are really bored. And if anyone has suggesstions on how we should spend our day, or more of a half-day in Dubai that would really help.

Ski Dubai in Emirates Mall, also,there is the Hilton in the Dubai Mariana has a wide range of water  sport activities ,like water skiing and you can take a tour of the palm Island. or you can have a tour in the city using the wander bus,The unique experience about riding this bus is that the tour of Dubai takes you around Dubai and also takes you on water, up and down the Dubai Creek,the tour lasts for 2 hours and operates twice a day (11am and 4pm),departing from the BurJuman shopping mall.
