  1. Are you going voluntarily or have you been sent there?

from memory the shopping there is ok, just down the road you have Warwick Castle and Stratford on Avon so a lot to see in the area

  2. Therer is nothing to do in Coventry as nobody speaks to you when you go there

  3. Have a look at Enjoy England's Day trip finder - all results are within 3 miles of Coventry  -

Hope you find something great to do.

  4. Could do something with Becks from BB

  5. Yeah Cov is great despite what people say! Go to the transport museum, I think it's still free and shows you the history of British motor industry (as Cov was the birthplace!)

Or if cars don't do it, go to the Cathedral. It's open pretty much all year round, and for a couple of quid I think you can still climb the tower there and get some pretty cool views of the city.

My fave place is the priory centre - this is where you find out about the FIRST cathedral that was around when Lady Godiva was goin around in the nuddy - that's not why I like it by the way, but there is some seriously amazing computer animations showing what it would have been like and telling the story - gone are the days of walking around museums looking at pictures and reading boring stories!

If the weather is nice you can catch a bus (unless your driving - then it would be a bit daft!) out to coombe abbey - this is a lovely country park with pools and woods and you can even take a bbq if it's not chucking it down - we went a few weeks ago and there were loads of people, all different ages, races and religions, all together having picnics and bbqs - was really friendly atmosphere - yeah cov folk have a bit of a name for not speaking to each other but were not all like that!!

There is also a police museum, watchmaking museum, art gallery by the uni, oh and if you're REALLY bored there's loads of shops and a huge mulit floor Ikea!!!

Have a nice time in this cracking city!
