Things to do in Netherlands?

Question

It's due to rain this weekend and I have a family of 5 to entertain... Me, my wife, a 20 year old, an 18 year old and a 5 year old daughter. Does anyone have any ideas of what we could do in the Netherlands? I have a car and like travelling so location not an issue... Please help!

There is plenty to do in the Netherlands, but to find something that is enjoyable for both your 5 year old daughter and your older children will be a bit more difficult. Your best bet is to go to a VVV (tourism office) near where you are and ask for suggestions.

A suggestion from me (mostly indoors, so rain shouldn't be a problem) is the Railroad museum in Utrecht.

WOW. theres alot to do in holland. i lived there in 2000, with my husband, who is dutch. go to the zaanse schans. its real fun place. also amsterdam is totally cool. they also have lots of indoor things incase of rain. go to the anne frank house. its indoors for a bit. also there is something in amsredam called the holland expierence. its a simulation ride that you ride and its like you are flying thro all of holland. its awesome!! the city of volendam is also very neat. a typical dutch town with cute little houses, and you can get your picture made in traditional dutch costumes. so fun!! also the appenheul is a very fun place. its like a zoo but with little monkeys running around for you to pet. so so fun.

where in netherlands? i lived in there before, mostly look for like a flower park they are good over there

Go mountain climbing. A very gentle activity.
