  1. There is soo much to see and do...I would book through the national travel agent, house of travel and that way you wont miss out and will be looked after while here in NZ.

  2. Well there is heaps to do all year round and it depends if you are going north or south island. If North Island Ohakune is good snowboarding. If South Island head to Queenstown and Wanaka, Mt Cook areas. These areas are stunning in winter.New Zealand is not a cheap country for tourists so I recommend staying at backpackers and using buses to get around if you are travelling on a budget.

  3. I went last year in August and it wasnt as cold as I thought.

You definately should go to Queenstown, theres several snow resorts close and the nightlife and town are great.

    Hike/climb Franz Josef glacier

    Christchurch

Go visit Rotorua.  Its an amazing place

    Visit Auckland

and visit the Northland area especially Bay of Islands region.

I had a great time even though it was in the middle of winter.

    Have fun!!!

  4. You definitely need to go to Queenstown! I went there last year and it was by far the best holiday I've ever had!

I didn't go in winter so there wasn't much snow around but there was still sooo much to do. I went bungy jumping, white water rafting, sky diving, jet boating, went hiking on franz josef glacier and many many other things!

Also the nightlife is amazing there, everything is open every night of the week so you've always got somewhere to go! Next to my homeland of Australia, NZ is my fave country in the world!

  5. Mt Ruapehu is awesome . I live in NZ and every holidays in winter I want to go there . It is said to be that Auckland this winter is going to be packed full of preforming arts shows and what not.Wellington has a big museum called Te papa which is pretty interesting.

    You should check it out

  6. Ok everyone has said Queenstown... if you end up there, make sure you take the gondala and go on the LUGE ride!!! Its so fun. U MUST go to Hanmer Springs. U must go to the beaches and eat fish and chips lol. U must go bungy jumping - u can go there Hanmer Springs.

  7. well you should go skiing at the southern alps or Mt cook. there are lots of people who go there to ski

if youre coming to Auckland you should go to the city and go up Sky City. for more historicalish stuff you should go to Wellington and visit the Beehive or something

  8. You should definately check out Queenstown and the skifields there which are Coronet Peak and the Remarkables.

There is bungy jumping and jet boating there too.

If you have time, go across to Wanaka, there is Treble Cone Ski field there. If you have even more time check out Christchurch, it's a pretty city. If you're into cultures, try going to Rotorua in the North Island. Its interesting.
