Things to do in Orlando Florida?

Question

We are vacationing in Florida for about a week and want to know what are some things to do or see in Florida besides the days we are planning to go to Universal and Disney? We'd like the locals point of view or someone who has already toured Orlando. Word of mouth is way better than internet website advertisement.

take the bee line highway to the coast snd go to ron jon surf shop go swimming go to cape canaveral lot of shopping etc.
