Sorry but I don't know who told you that Fortuna is an hour from Benidorm, they are wrong.  Fortuna is in Murcia province and I know it well, it's a good hour and 3/4 from Benidorm where I live.

In Fortuna they have a natural spa resort and you can go there it's very nice to relax in the baths, people come from all over Spain to take the waters for medical purposes and to relax. You can have all sorts of treatments there too.
