  1. You can take a tour, they keep you interested and entertained.

  2. Go to the Tower of London. See the Crown Jewels. The changing of the Guard. Tour Parliament, which is fabulous, and Westminster Abbey.

You can get tour guides at your local bookstore or from the library and just browse through them ... a great source of ideas.

And while you're there, ask the folks at the hotel or B&B for their recommendations - they can tell you about things you wouldn't find elsewhere.

The parks are lovely. Regent's Park especially.

Tours are great, because they show you the highlights as well as the places you'll want to come back to by yourselves.

Also, get a good street map (either when you get there, or, again, from a bookstore) and map out where you want to go. I once missed the fabulous British Museum because I hadn't allowed enough time .... and because I wound up trying to be in two different parts of London on the same afternoon.

One of the listings, below, is of the Top Ten *free* things to do in London. Have a blast!

  3. The comedy clubs are usually a good laugh!!!

You can go to one on the river Thames on the boat and it has a nice atmosphere with couple of bars and a dance area for afterwards.

  4. Dinner at The Ritz!

  5. This link is 101 things to do while in London. It is a long list, but I hope you can narrow it down based on your sister's interests/personality.

    I hope this helps.

Have fun in London. It is a great place to visit.
