Well its saturday and im so bored! I live in Southwest Iowa and my family doesnt have a whole lot of money, but we want to do something today. We are looking to go to either Omaha Neb. or Kansas City/St.Joseph Missouri. Does anybody know anything to do in either of those cities? We dont want to spend much at all at most probably fifty dollars and we have to eat a meal and possibly a snack. If people know anything to do i would be more than happy to look into doing them. We are a family of three My mom, Me 14, and my brother 11. If that has anything to do with it. Thanks in advance!!

  1. you didn't like watch corn and potatoes grow...again go to college and move to the east coast or California.

  2. Sorry, don't know about those cities,,but, Springfield, Illinois is a great place to go..the new Lincoln museum is a really cool place to see..all ages are impressed with it,,

and in one day you won't have time for anything else but, there is lots more to see and do in that city. You might want to put it on your list of places to visit in the future..

  3. My family lives in Iowa and all i know is that when i vist i usually go to adventure land. you could check and see if there is one near you.

That probably didn't help at all, sorry.

  4. I live in Omaha Nebraska.  The Gene Layhe Mall in the downtown area has a beautiful little waterway with swans and ducks, art installations, plus two giant slides that are great fun to play on (even adults go on them).  It's free to the public.  It's within walking distance of the Old Market which has beautiful shops, ranging from antique stores, to a kite shop!  You don't have to spend money to enjoy just looking at all the unique things there!  There are carriage rides, which aren't free, but you can still at least pet the horses. And there's a Subway and a Maggie Moo's icecream if you are looking to eat cheap for lunch and snack.
