Things to do on a LONG JOURNEY ? ? ?

I'm going on holiday, by car, and I want something to keep me occupied for most of the journey...Is there ANYTHING that you can suggest that I could take, make or buy for my journey?

watch films either ipod or portable dvd player they can be cheap £25 ish bring a laptop if you have one.

if you are into making things do that eg clothes

or stay up late night  before then sleep in the car.

Well it may not be much help but if you get tired then try to fall asleep, it will make the time go a lot quicker or also if you are not tired then you always take a game boy or something along that line, if you are really struggling though and you really don't know what to do then if you like reading you could read for a while also one other quite obvious thing would be to talk to somebody, that usually makes time pass with me, i hope that some of these answers have helped you get ideas !!!! have fun !!!
