Things to do to make a BIG shirt Smaller?

Can anyone give me some things I can do to make my New Shirt

Smaller.

Things I can do at home, taking it to a thread store, ETC.

if you have a sewing machine or just a thread and needle you can flip it inside out and cut the sides of it a few inches or however much you need it to fit and then sew the ends back up. this is what the talior would do this ways its just cheaper. but if your not good at sewing you might just go there and tell them to take it in for you.
