Things to do when I'm in US?

I'm might be going over to US with my hubby next year because as he would be attached in the airforce there. Since i can't actually work and i don't wanna be bored to death, what others things i can do there?

yeah i think you should say where you are going but there are lotsss of fun stuff to do no matter where you go i dont think you can get bored we have museums, zoos amuzment parks i hope you have fun here its something that you have to experince at least once

OMG!  Where are you going to be?  This is a VAST country!

You could join clubs, do volunteer work, get to know the other airforce wives and do things with them.  Go to the theater (live or movie) take a class...there are usually universities, or at the very least, community colleges near any airforce base.

come visit me and go skiing.  I live near Keystone, Vail, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain, all huge ski resorts...

Whatever you're interests might be, you'll find a volunteer opportunity. One of the things that makes the United States unique are the hundreds of thousands of places to volunteer and also participate in something you like.

Be a volunteer firefighter. Read stories to children in a library. Assistance in a high school computer lab. Work at a local animal shelter. Join the local ski patrol.

By volunteering, you set your own schedule and place to work.

And, start a blog for your friends to read about your adventures in the USA.
