Things to do with 6 year old in b'ham, west midlands?

Its the holidays and he is gettin bored. Apart from parks and swimming. what other things can i do with him to get him out and about. He hates being stuck in.

Cadbury's World is a great favourite with kids (and adults!) if they like chocolate - free chocs being handed out as you go around, and then there is a kids' train ride, which Grannies and Gramps enjoy, too!!!

Any boat trips going at the moment around Gas Street Basin?  Kids love those.

Then the aquarium adjacent - is it called "Sea World"?
