Things to know for SAT II biology?

I bought a Kaplan book for SAT subject test biology E/M, but when I did the diagnosic test provided in the book, I found several new materials that I didn't learn from my biology class. Is it that I should study those things by myslef?

Yes, you should.

Most classes just cover the general material on the curriculum and don't go over the SAT IIs, which go into more detail.
