  1. Quinoa, whole wheat bread and pasta, nuts, beans, peas, soy products are all great sources but almost everything else also has protein in it.

  2. Beans, cheese.

  3. As long as you are a vegetarian and not a vegan the richest source available for you are cheeses they typically contain 20- 30% protein depending on the exact cheese e.g cheddar and Edam 26%.

Nuts are also very good sources ranging from 15% - 20% e.g almonds 21%, walnuts 15% but peanuts are 28%.

Beans are also a very good source they contain just 9% protein when cooked but given that one can easily eat a 500 gram portion that's 45 grams of protein, a whole day's requirement.

  4. You didn't say if you were ovo-lacto veggie or vegan, but this article has good suggestions for adding protein to your diet, whether vegetarian or vegan:

    Good luck!

  5. Beans, legumes are all good sources.  Black beans especially as they also are good sources of fibre.

I know some vegetarians that will eat fish w/ gills; obviously fish like halibut and/or salmon are great for a litany of reasons.

If you eat dairy, eggs are another good source of protein (egg whites/egg beaters).

  6. Vegetable protein in the form of faux meat :)  You can use it in any recipe that calls for meat, yet it is cruelty free :)
