i have an assignment and no one can relaly help cuz they keep saying HOBOS! im like ok, everyones gunna do that.

Hollywood: The entertainment capital of the world

Wonderful Art Deco architecture in Hollywood and the wilshire district.

Burgers: LA is the burger capital of the world. If you go to NY, you get a dog or a slice of pizza. In LA, it's the burger. Try Tommy's or In-N-Out.

LA is the only city divided by a mountain range. Check out the views from Mulholland Drive

Griffith Park: One of the largest muniicpal parks in the world

Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the entire music center area, is famous for its architecture

Downtown is having a rebirth. Note all the housing downtown, where there was once just rundown businesses. Staples Center, Convention Center, Nokia Theater, LA Live.

That should keep you busy.

First of all Hobos or the homeless are in all the big  cities.How many other cities have studios, the motion picture industry and the Disney Center.  Every city has hobos.

You know i've lived in L.A my entire life and i can't think of d**n thing, I don't know venice beach has some deep history, so does hollywood, sunset blvd, and east L.A.(hah!) I don't know wow that's pretty sad.

Edit: I remembered something it's this one thing that kept standing out in my mind there's a bunch more but i did them when i was kid. You know parent children outings that kind of stuff, and this place was i don't know serene it might be an awesome place to visit.

Every city has hobos and street performers.

Only LA has Disney Hall, The Getty, the LA Cathedral, MOCA, the Temporary Contemporary, the Music Center, Convention Center, LACMA, and other cool architecture all around us.

Downtown is undergoing a huge resurgence right now.

Visit www.discoverlosangeles.com. It's the LA tourism board and talks about a lot of things specific to LA.

A few of my favorites that are ONLY in LA:

Walt Disney Concert Hall (architecture)

Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels (architecture)

Charles Bukowski Tours (through Esotouric) -- he did a lot of his writing here

Hollywood Walk of Fame

Downtown LA Central Public Library (both for architecture and interesting history)
