I know that lots of swimmers proabably started swimming when they are younger. But i've always wanted to do this, and I feel bad for not persuing what i wanna do. should I give it a try? P.S. 1. Of course you should try!

  2. follow your dreams

  3. i think you should go for it!!! it is great exercise and lots of fun to do!!

  4. If you want to do it, give swimming a try! I tried it but I wasn't cut out for it. Unfortunately I swim like a rock!

  5. Of course you should.  13 isn't too old to learn how to.  I coached a team and would happily accept anyone who was determined to learn (like you sound like you would be.) Swimming is a great sport.  Go for it.

  6. You should definitely give it a try! When I was learning how to swim when I was younger it was hard for me and I didn't like swimming that much back then but I never quit it! I just knew I'm gonna learn it and everytime when it was hard for me I just said to myself: "never quit! no matter what! never quit!" and now I have become a great competitive swimmer! I just won 1st place at a swimming competition on Wednesday!! I'm so good at swimming now (I'm almost 14) and I like it soo much! Swimming is a great sport, I'm in a competitive swimming team, I train 7 days a week for 1 hour+ and I have a swimmer's body now, and I'm getting better with every training! I really love swimming now! So you should definitely go give it a try. And remember - NEVER QUIT!!!

    Good Luck!

  7. it doesnt really matter how old you are when you start swimming, if your a fast learner (and even if you werent) you should give it a try, i have been swimming for 6 years and it rox, and if you dont like it you can always quit, (but i dont suggest quitting)

  8. you should definitely give swimming a try. it doesnt matter when you started. its really how much effort you put into the sport. and dont feel bad for not persuing what you wanted to do. you can start pursuing it right now. good luk

  9. Yes of course. And if you're not comfortable starting with a lower level class, which you probably would be in, with younger kids (maybe 9 years old??) you can get private lessons and learn very fast. I would suggest that you learn, it's a great sport and I think everyone should at least know the basics of it.

Good luck & have fun =)

  10. give it a try you might be really good at it (:

  11. You should do it, you're young you can do it, hopefully I'll be watching you for the next Olympics. Good Luck

  12. sure.

  13. Definitely. I used to be on my high school swimming and diving team, and we would have people who were like 16, with no prior experience come out for the team, and turn out to  be fabulous swimmers, so I'm sure you'll fair out well.

If you have a gym membership to a gym with a pool, you could practice there. Or if you have a YMCA membership, or if you're a member of a country club...etc.)

  14. well if you dedicate your self and you are really willing to a hard practice, i say say go for it!

  15. If your dedicated and have the time then give it a try.

  16. Of course you should. I go swimming every time I am free. It is great.

And there is no harms of trying :D
