Please help me. I think I was circumcised as a baby but I really don’t know (I NEED TO KNOW!) and I really don’t know how to tell. My p***s has no real loose skin to speak of and on top of that it as an odd colored ring around it the ring is about an inch wide when it is erect (I don’t know if that is a scar or not I have a lot of scares on me and nun of them look like that). On top of that should I be mad at my parents for doing it and not telling me? It took me 17 years to figure it out (I feel really dumb now) I need help I needed the skin for my SRS please help and if and other MTF’s read this please help me out I am scared that I might not have enough skin for me SRS please help.

  1. What you describe sounds like the results of circumcision.  Don't be mad at your parents.  Even today the majority of boys that are born in the US are circumcised.

Most likely, you will have enough skin for reasonable depth from SRS.  As has already been said, the surgeon can use skin grafts to increase the depth.

    WARNING THERE ARE PICTURES!!!!!!!

  3. Woah, slow down!  It really doesn't matter hon.  If you don't have enough donor material the doctor will do a skin graft.  They take skin grafts from the upper thigh or lower abdomen usually.  So relax, this is a non-issue.  I was circumsized and I didn't need a skin graft, but many do.

Don't worry, it will be all right.

David S: They do full thickness skin grafts, no balloons are necessary.

  4. From what you describe, it sounds like you have been circumcised.  However, if you truly need more skin for your SRS, then there are a variety techniques to grow more skin.  Just to name one (used for burn victims): balloons can be implanted under your skin and then slowly expanded over several weeks.  Your skin will be stretched and new skin will grow.  When you have enough skin, then the balloons are removed.

You would need to first be evaluated to see if you have enough skin and if not, then the various skin-growth options would need to be discussed with you by your doctor.

  5. But you're a girl?

  6. It sounds like you are. If you look on the web you might be able to find pictures or diagrams to compare to. I'm sorry you've been circumcised. I would be angry if parents had done something like that to me. I'm not sure about the skin issue I guess your doctor will work that one out with you.

  7. consult a doctor

  8. get a doctor to talk to and ask him for some advise

  9. Either your circumcised or not... have you asked your parents? It sounds like it, but I've little first hand experience to guide you. :D

If you are, being mad at your parents is a waste of energy. They did what they thought was right at the time. 17 years ago. Its not like your anger will bring your f******n back. XD

f******n, what's removed at the time of a circumcision, shouldn't be needed for your SRS..? Were you told it was required? I would think they can do what they need to do just with the skin/nerves in the tip. Its really not a whole lot of skin to make enough difference otherwise. I'm sure a skilled surgeon can work around it.. (circumcision is only now going out of favor with about less and less babies having it done. I couldn't find any statistics past 1997 or I'd share. :( So.. Until 1997 about 65-85% (depended on the area of the country) of males were circumcised. SO I'm sure they should be used to doing many SRS without foreskins.)

    Good luck! :)

  10. if you were circumcised then the f******n that covers the p***s head would be gone and regardless of whether it is erect or not, you would be able to see the head of the p***s. don't be mad at your parents. of course i think that it's natural and it shouldn't be cut off b/c your born with it for a reason but in another aspect, by cutting it off, you reduce the risk of infection.

    what is SRS?
