And this is the REAL KICKER: Evian water 9 oz $1.49 ..... $21.19 per gallon?! $21.19 for WATER - and the buyers don't even know the source.

So, the next time you're at the pump, be glad your car doesn't run on water, Scope, Whiteout, or God forbid Pepto Bismal or Nyquil.

At $3.15 for a 12oz. bottle of brake fluid, you must be quoting the price for Raybestos brand. It's about $1.97 at Wal-Mart, and it's DOT  4, quality. I don't even buy Evian brand water or any other fashionable brand. In a pinch, Refreshe (Safeway) water is 50 cents for a 12oz. bottle. The R.O. system in my house was a small fortune to buy, but I've got good drinkable water "on tap" anytime. Hint. Most  of the water purchased at the store probably is processed the same way. Every little bit helps. Good stats the consider. Thanx.

And your question is...So far as the bottled water farse goes...you'll be seeing higher water prices with time...there's a crisis building in the Western States (assuming you are in the USA form the brands you listed).  

Also I hope you're feeling really, really good...lol that gallon of Nyquil will really make you feel as though you've tied one on...lol.  PEACE!

Thanx for the facts and figures....

It is a politicians strategy to keep us focused on other issues like gasoline while behind the scenes we are blind to what is really happening.  It's the same with these "wars"...what is really going on.....

I was surprised when I bought a loaf of bread for $1.69, Friday @ Safeway, I was cleaning out a drawer and found a receipt for the same bread @ $1.19 a year ago.

That's why I wonder what is really behind these "wars".

Again, Thanx for the facts.  A real eye opener.  An insight into the politicians real hidden agenda.

Military strategy....keep the troops focused on something else.

While we "focus" on gas prices...everything else goes up unnoticed.

Those are amazing eyeopening stats, but fortunately we don't use gallons of those as quickly as we use gas.  And all of those are end products, whereas gasoline produces energy whch we can use for may things, so gas is a bargain compared to those items.  The problem with gas is we fell in love with the auto and made our world revolve around it and for me that was at .32 a gallon.  That is what hurts.
