  1. Private charities have been shown to be the best source of charity in the world. Governments don't even come close.

  2. My Money says it's a sham put on by the oil companies to fight Bio Fuels.

    I'm not buying into it.

  3. As 40% of all foods going into a supermarket is thrown away each day, I say try Freeganism as a group of friends and the money saved can go to supporting your ideals (equality of children via World Vision for instance).

  4. good question but how about practice?

  5. Oh p**s off

  6. With today's technology, there is no need for people to be starving anywhere in the world. However, that would require people to make inconvenient sacrifices that they, for the most part, are unwilling to make. Wealthier nations would never force their people to make these sacrifices, because, again for the most part, they value property rights over people.

  7. No, I do not Think that there is any "need" for people to go hungry anywhere in the world.

I also think that for the next few hundred years it will happen every day. I do not like it, but the plain fact is that this is the way it has been all through history because of the selfishness of some people.

While I expect change to happen and one day mankind to eliminate hunger, I am realistic enough to not expect it to happen in my or your lifetime.

Just look at all the evil that is going on in the rest of the world.

  8. i think if there is a system comes from our inside to take care for poor people in Africa for example,a system let's feel with them,i don't mean a law from governments, all this situation will be different

  9. If it's not in your heart to help your brother then charity does not abide in you as a person or a country....Conscience can be a heavy heavy burden....at least for those that have it...
