To have a President and VP with the President having served in the military and never losing his faith or love of this country even though they were a POW, further with both of them having raised Patriotic kids who chose to go in to the military and defend the Constitution against all enemies both foreign and Domestic, and a VP although lacking experience is only in the number 2 position but is willing to do the right thing even against her own party:

Which is better--to assess both candidates based on their record, how they voted, things they said?  Or to have posts that repeat tired old lies about the candidate you don't like?

What does it say for your side that you can't make an argument using the facts that actually exist?

People who complain or protest or dissent are people who aren't happy with the way things are going.  Those people support change.  When there is a Democrat in the White House next year, YOU will be the complainer, the dissenter.  You will suddenly realize that it is our right and our DUTY to dissent, and that to criticize a president you don't like is not unpatriotic.

Despite your lies about Michelle Obama, I'm not sure what constitutional role a President's wife has in running the government, anyway. You criticize Biden for supporting a bill that McCain also supported, so I don't know where you are going with that.

As for the Republican side - what if John McCain kicks the bucket in February - where will that put our country?

I don't need one second.  Plenty of candidates have been self-serving or even Machiavelli, but Obama may be the first Presidential candidate to seek the post for the purpose of destroying everything that Americans value.

Heard all that. The news is that Sarah Palin has arrived on the scene and that is real change. I hope this drives home the message the Old Maverick has preaching for many years - the government is out of whack and spending like a drunken sailor and running up debt.

Sarah Palin symbolism real change and reform of the corrupt system. That was a brilliant move from the McCain camp. Palin means reform.
